Rudy Colombini - President

Rudy Colombini is a lifelong San Francisco resident, local rock legend, and cultural powerhouse on a mission to turn his hometown back into a city that launches stars and builds sustainable careers for musicians. 


Honored by CBS as a Bay Area Icon and celebrated with “Rudy Colombini Day,” Rudy has spent 50+ years performing across the Bay 

Rudy Colombini is a lifelong San Francisco resident, local rock legend, and cultural powerhouse on a mission to turn his hometown back into a city that launches stars and builds sustainable careers for musicians. 


Honored by CBS as a Bay Area Icon and celebrated with “Rudy Colombini Day,” Rudy has spent 50+ years performing across the Bay Area, charting three Top 40 hits, and sharing stages with legends like Elton John, Journey, and Train. 


He is the visionary founder and developer of Music City San Francisco—now Music City Starfactory—designed to incubate, accelerate, and sustain today’s musicians. Across five stories, Music City Starfactory fuses education, rehearsal, recording, live performance, and broadcast media, creating a 360° launchpad for the next generation of artists, while energizing tourism, supporting local small businesses, and transforming San Francisco into a global music destination. 


Rudy is also President of the award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit Music City Artist Development, ensuring that artistry and sustainability go hand in hand.

Robert Berry is a Grammy-nominated recording artist, songwriter, producer, and performing musician with a career spanning decades of influential rock music. 


Emerging from the Bay Area scene with Hush, Berry gained international recognition through the progressive rock trio 3, alongside Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer. He has performed with

Emerging from the Bay Area scene with Hush, Berry gained international recognition through the progressive rock trio 3, alongside Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer. He has performed with legendary band Ambrosia and leads the long-running project Alliance, collaborating with members of Boston, Sammy Hagar, and Night Ranger. 


A highly respected bassist and songwriter, Berry has also been a key creative contributor to the Greg Kihn Band and continues to be an in-demand producer, shaping records for artists across genres while remaining an active and dynamic performer.
